Ankle and Foot library

The ankle joint is vital during ambulation because it adapts to the surface on which one walks. The movements at the ankle joint are plantarflexion, dorsiflexion, inversion, and eversion. The muscles of the leg divide into anterior, posterior, and lateral compartments.

Most foot problems result from anatomic disorders or abnormal function of articular or extra-articular structures. Less commonly, foot problems reflect a systemic condition.

If you want to prevent worsening your condition, seek timely care. Our foot and ankle specialists can examine and diagnose your foot injury or disease to plan a course of treatment for a patient.
