Elbow Library

The elbow joint is a complex hinge joint formed between the upper arm’s distal end of the humerus and the proximal ends of the ulna and radius in the forearm. The elbow allows for the flexion and extension of the forearm and helps to rotate the forearm and wrist.

This list includes only a few of the injuries to the elbow or the other conditions that may need surgery. All of these conditions should be seen by a medical professional. Surgery aims to restore function, decrease the chance of re-injury, and minimize pain.
