My passion for orthopaedic care stems from my mother and her various orthopaedic problems. Among other things, she has dealt with major hip, knee and spine surgery. Caring for her has given me an uncommon insight into the rehabilitation process and a desire to make that process as comfortable as possible for others. Through a team oriented approach, I strive to provide patients with the best surgical and non-surgical care available. I believe in a holistic approach toward medicine in which the human body in not a series of independent systems but rather one intricate system with several different functions. This approach allows me to utilize an array of products and services that may decrease the recovery time and increase the long term function of many orthopaedic injuries. While I enjoy many facets of medicine, I have a special interest in treating patients with sports related injuries and spinal disorders. I look forward to the opportunity to provide the best in orthopaedic care to the good people of Nash and Edgcombe counties.
