Carolina Regional Orthopaedics was established in 1992 by Dr. David Miller. With the addition of Dr. Alberto d''Empaire, Dr. Robert Martin, Stephen Mould PA-C, Thomas Galisin PA-C and Joseph Williams PA-C, Carolina Regional Orthopaedics has become the largest orthopaedic practice in Edgecombe and Nash County.

Dr. Divya Patel joined Carolina Regional Orthopaedics in January of 2008. Dr. Patel focuses on comprehensive pain relief and physiatry, and has extensive experience in evaluating and treating acute and chronic pain without surgery. She treats a wide range of injury and pain syndromes including sports- and accident-related injuries, arthritis, tendonitis, back pain, age-related injuries and myofascial pain.

Dr. Edgar Allen Fike, IV, MD joined Carolina Regional Orthopaedics on February 7, 2011.  His specialty lies in total joint replacement surgeries, as well as trauma- and sports-related injuries and general orthopaedic surgery.  Dr. Fike is currently a Lt. Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, and has gained significant expertise and training in trauma care during his deployments.

Carolina Regional Orthopaedics provides in-house Physical Therapy and EMG Testing. We accept the majority of health insurances and welcome treating job-related injuries.
