Filing Claims

Carolina Regional Orthopaedics accepts most insurance companies. We ask that you be prepared to pay your co-pay or deductible at the time service is rendered. We will file your insurance claim for you electronically, but in some cases your insurance company will need additional information from you before they will pay your claim.  We ask that you please respond immediately to their request because it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to get their claims paid, although our billing staff maintains good contact and follow-up with insurance companies.

After your insurance company has paid and you are left with a balance, you will receive a statement and/or letter from our staff indicating the amount your insurance company has paid and your outstanding balance. We will be glad to set you up on payment arrangements if necessary. Our goal is not to make this a burden on you - we are here to help!

Should you receive a piece of mail from your insurance company that you have trouble understanding, please contact one of our offices at our Locations page and our billing staff will be happy to answer your questions.
